These terms are between you and LowCost AT Pty Ltd ("LOWCOST AT", "we", "us", "our"), an Australian assistive technology supplier based in South Australia.
Use of Website
The content of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the site.
Product Information
We take care to ensure all product information, descriptions and pricing on our website are accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that all product descriptions are complete, current or error-free. Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.
If you identify an error in a product listing, please contact us before placing your order.
Purchases and Payment
By placing an order on the LOWCOST AT website, you are making an offer to purchase a product subject to these terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
Payment is required at the time of purchase for standard checkout orders. For NDIS invoice orders, payment is required before dispatch. We accept the payment methods listed on our website.
NDIS Funding — Important Information
We understand that some customers purchase through NDIS funding. Please note the following:
- Product information only: We provide product descriptions based on general features and intended use. We do not assess the specific needs of individual NDIS participants.
- Your responsibility: It is the responsibility of the purchaser — whether the NDIS participant, nominee, plan manager or other representative — to ensure the product meets the participant's specific needs and satisfies the NDIS Reasonable and Necessary criteria for their individual plan.
- No guarantee of funding: Purchasing an item from LOWCOST AT does not guarantee that the cost will be approved or reimbursed by the NDIS. Funding decisions rest entirely with the NDIA based on the individual's plan and circumstances.
- Seek advice first: We strongly recommend consulting your NDIS Planner, Local Area Coordinator (LAC), Support Coordinator or Plan Manager before purchasing if you are unsure whether a product meets the requirements of your plan.
- Funding decisions are not our responsibility: LOWCOST AT accepts no responsibility if an NDIS claim is denied or if funds are later required to be repaid to the NDIS on the grounds that the product was not Reasonable and Necessary for the participant's needs. By completing your purchase you acknowledge that responsibility for NDIS suitability rests with the purchaser.
This NDIS notice does not affect your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law regarding faulty goods or products not matching their description. Our standard returns and refund policies apply for such issues.
Delivery
We will make every reasonable effort to deliver your product within the estimated timeframes stated in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Delivery delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control including carrier disruptions, remote locations or peak periods.

Returns and Refunds
If you receive a product that is faulty, not as described, or not fit for its stated purpose, you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us first at hello@lowcostat.com.au and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions and software — is the property of LowCost AT Pty Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected under Australian and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any content from this website without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, LOWCOST AT's liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or the products purchased through it is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product.
We do not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law, including liability under the Australian Consumer Law for consumer guarantees.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

When using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when placing an order
- Use the website only for lawful purposes
- Not misuse any product, account or service in a way that could harm LOWCOST AT or other customers

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Australia, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia for any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms.
If you have a complaint that cannot be resolved directly with us, you may contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) at accc.gov.au.

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
